Each Air Plant Shelf + Pot is a study in restraint: a perfect circle of powder-coated steel, a hand-finished leather strap, and a linear shelf carved from solid white ash hardwood with a mini terra cotta pot at its center.

Your Air Plant Shelf + Pot is crafted from solid white ash hardwood, small-batch made, and finished by hand. With a little care, they're built to grow more beautiful with time.
A few simple notes from our studio:
- Keep your piece indoors. The white ash and leather details are made for interior styling, not the elements.
- When it's time to water or mist your air plant, lift it out of the mini pot. Our pieces are water-resistant, not waterproof. It's a small ritual that protects the finish for years to come.
For everyday upkeep, a soft cloth is all you need. Once in a while, a light pass of hardwood furniture polish brings the grain back to life and deepens the wood's natural dimension.
Treat it well, and it do the same for your space.

Every Air Plant Shelf is composed of solid white ash hardwood, powder-coated steel, full-grain leather, and terra cotta.
Each material was chosen for the way it catches light, holds shape, and adds quiet dimension to a wall.
Solid White Ash Hardwood
A North American hardwood prized for its pale, open grain and soft, natural tone. White ash takes finish beautifully and reveals a different pattern across every piece. No two are exactly alike.
You'll feel the difference the moment you lift one. Solid hardwood has a real, substantial weight to it. The kind of presence you simply don't get from pine, plywood, MDF, or veneer. It's a quiet signal of quality, seen & felt simultaneously.
Powder-Coated Steel
The signature circular frame is formed from solid steel, then powder-coated in a smooth timeless finish that holds its color and depth over time.
The result is a clean, architectural silhouette. Sculptural, precise, and softened by the curve.
Full-Grain Leather
The small leather strap at the top of each hanger is where craftsmanship meets quiet detail. Full-grain leather develops a richer patina with time, adding a subtle handmade quality to a design that is otherwise modern and refined.
Terra cotta
There's a reason terra cotta has held plants for centuries. Each mini pot is fired from natural clay, giving it a warm, earthen tone and a softly porous surface that lets air plants breathe. It's the most elemental material out of the four. Hand-finished, quietly tactile, and a grounding counterpoint to the wood and steel. No two pots take the finish in exactly the same way, so each one carries its own subtle character.

Can I choose or swap the pot color on the Air Plant Shelf?
Each Air Plant Shelf is designed as a complete colorway. The terra cotta pots are selected to complement the shelf and finish they're paired with, so the pots aren't available to mix, match, or swap.
It's part of how we keep every Air Plant Shelf + Pot feeling intentional and gallery-ready right out of the box.
The pot colorway you see is the colorway you'll receive. The entire piece comes to you composed, considered, and ready to style.
Should I just buy one, or upgrade to a duo or trio?
A single Air Plant Shelf + Pot is a beautiful way to begin. On its own, it's a quiet, considered detail in a room.
But here's the honest truth: these pieces were designed to be seen together. One Air Plant Shelf + Pot is a lovely accent. Two or three create a real moment in your space. A complete, finished wall that draws the eye, adds rhythm and dimension, and turns an overlooked space into something with real style and impact.
If you're hoping to genuinely transform a wall rather than simply decorate it, the duo or trio is how you get there.

Prefer to source your own greenery, or styling the shelves another way? Leave them off and the Air Plant Shelf + Pot ships ready for whatever you have in mind.

Can I purchase just one wall hook instead of the set of 3?
Our custom wall hooks are made in sets of three to pair perfectly with our trios, so we don't offer a smaller pack right now.
The good news: an extra hooks are rarely wasted. Use them for other wall decor pieces in your home, or hold onto them for the day you add more Braid & Wood pieces to your space. Most customers do. :)
And while the hooks are technically optional, they're worth it.
They were designed in the same studio, by the same hand, as the Air Plant Shelves themselves. The proportions, the finish, the quiet detailing all made to belong together.
A generic hardware-store hook will hold the weight, but it won't add to the wall the way these do.

I'm a renter. Can I install the Air Plant Shelf + Pot in my rental without damaging the walls?
Yes, beautifully! Each custom hook installs with a single small, delicate nail (think jewelry for your wall).
No anchors, no large hardware, no drill. The hole is tiny and easily patched with a dab of spackle when it's time to move on.
I love it, but I'm not sure how to style it in my space. Can you help?
