The Finishing Piece for the Air Plant Shelf + Pot

The Diamond Hook is the most stylish mounting solutions for Braid & Wood's Air Plant Shelf + Pot.

A set of three small, sculptural hooks & nails in solid metal, designed in the same San Diego studio as the Plant Shelf.

Where a standard nail or anchor hides apologetically behind your decor, the Diamond Hook sits proudly above it, a visible decorative detail that elevates the entire piece.

Its angular diamond form is a deliberate contrast to the straight line of the Air Plant Shelf and contrast is where good design comes alive.

The angle of the diamond hook set against the straight line of the Air Plant Shelf creates visual interest while quietly tying the whole piece together, which is why founder and designer Jenn Braidwood pairs the two.

The Diamond Wall Hook will happily hold any V-Hanger in the collection. The Air Plant Shelf + Pot pairing is a styling recommendation, not a rule.

Choose brass for a warm, polished glow alongside our Mixed Metal and Classic Shimmer colorways, or matte black, made to pair with Dark and Stormy.

Set of 3 hooks, nails included. Each rated to hold up to 5 lb.

The Small Details Matter The Most

Designed To Be Seen

A small piece that does real work.

Design, not hardwaredrawn in the same San Diego studio, by the same hand, as your Air Plant Shelf + Pot. A visible decorative detail meant to be seen, not a nail you hope no one notices.
Contrast that Completes The lookthe angular diamond set against the straight line of the Air Plant Shelf is what makes the whole piece feel finished. It's the difference between hung on the wall and styled on the wall.
Two Finishes, Match Your Colorwaychoose gold, which pairs beautifully with our Mixed Metal and Classic Shimmer colorways, or matte black, designed to complement Dark and Stormy.
Simple & Cleaninstalls with a single small nail, no drill and no anchors, and holds up to 5 lb with ease. The tiny hole patches with a dab of spackle if you need to move the piece.
better than the hardware aislea generic hook holds the weight and nothing more. The Diamond Wall Hook elevates the piece it's holding. You won't find another quite like it.

How To Install

The Diamond Wall Hook

one nail. one tap. done.

Installation Guide:

  • 01 - Prep The Hook

Place the included pin nail into the tiny circle at the top of the hook. And then place the hook + nail against the wall where you want your piece to live.

  • 02 - Tap To Hang

A hammer is all you need. No drill and no anchors. Just tap the nail into place. All it takes is just a few delicate taps and the hook is installed.

  • 03 - Step Back & Enjoy

That's it. Just slip the top ring of your Air Plant Shelf over the hook, step back and enjoy your fully styled plant forward moment.

We've got the answers

Most Common Questions

Could I just use a nail or a hook from the hardware store instead?

You could. A standard nail or picture hanger hook will hold the weight. But that's all it will do.

And a piece of hardware that was never meant to be seen can actually take away from a design, leaving your piece looking hung on the wall rather than styled on it.

The Diamond Hook does the opposite. Its angular shape, the proportions of the piece, and the finish are all designed to be seen.

It doesn't just hold your piece up; it completes it. The hook becomes part of the composition, so the whole thing reads as intentional, finished, and designed.

A hardware-store hook does one job. This one does several. You won't find another quite like it.

Which hook goes with which piece? Does it matter?

Founder and designer Jenn Braidwood pairs the Diamond Hook with the Air Plant Shelf + Pot and the Oval Hook with the V-Hanger.

The angular diamond plays against the straight line of the Air Plant Shelf + Pot and the soft oval plays against the sharp V shelf of the V-Hanger. Each pairing creates just a bit of contrast to bring the entire look together.

Does it matter?

Not functionally. Either hook will hold any Air Plant Shelf or V-Hanger in the collection, up to 5 lb.

So the pairing is a styling recommendation, not a rule.

If you prefer the oval against your Air Plant Shelf + Pot, go for it!

A Note On Black vs. Gold:

Matte Black is made for our Dark and Stormy colorway — the hook's black picks up the black ring your piece hangs from, so the two read as one continuous line.

Gold/Brass pairs with our Classic Shimmer and Mixed Metal colorways — the warm brass echoes the 1.5-inch brass ring, tying the hook and the piece together.

What kind of walls does the hook work on?

The hooks are made for standard drywall, where they install with a single small nail and a hammer. No anchors, no drill.

They're not designed for brick, tile, or concrete, which need specialized hardware we don't include.
