A few simple notes from our studio:
- Keep your pieces indoors. The white ash and leather details are made for interior styling, not the elements.
- When it's time to water or mist your air plants, lift them off the shelf first. Our pieces are water-resistant, not waterproof. It's a small ritual that protects the finish for years to come.
For everyday upkeep, a soft cloth is all you need. Once in a while, a light pass of hardwood furniture polish brings the grain back to life and deepens the wood's natural dimension.

Every V-Hanger is composed of solid white ash hardwood, powder-coated steel, and full-grain leather.
Each material was chosen for the way it catches light, holds shape, and adds quiet dimension to a wall.
Solid White Ash Hardwood
A North American hardwood prized for its pale, open grain and soft, natural tone. White ash takes finish beautifully and reveals a different pattern across every piece. No two are exactly alike.
You'll feel the difference the moment you lift one. Solid hardwood has a real, substantial weight to it. The kind of presence you simply don't get from pine, plywood, MDF, or veneer. It's a quiet signal of quality, seen & felt simultaneously.
Powder-Coated Steel
The signature circular frame is formed from solid steel, then powder-coated in a smooth timeless finish that holds its color and depth over time.
The result is a clean, architectural silhouette. Sculptural, precise, and softened by the curve.
Full-Grain Leather
The small leather strap at the top of each hanger is where craftsmanship meets quiet detail. Full-grain leather develops a richer patina with time, adding a subtle handmade quality to a design that is otherwise modern and refined.

What's the difference between the Small & The Large V-Duo?
The Small V-Hanger has a 10-inch diameter with a 1.5-inch deep shelf. Perfectly scaled for tighter walls and gallery groupings. If you add air plants, they arrive with smaller plants sized to match the piece.
The Large V-Hanger has a 12-inch diameter with a deeper 2.5-inch shelf, giving it more presence. If you add air plants, they arrive with fuller plants to complement the duo's scale.
Both sizes feel beautiful and it's stunning as a duo.
Do the air plants come with the Duo?
Air plants are an optional add-on, so the choice is yours. Add them and you'll receive two live Tillandsia Velutina, packaged in their own box and tucked inside the larger box with your V-Hangers. Everything arrives together in one shipment.
Prefer to source your own greenery, or styling the shelves another way? Leave them off and the duo ships ready for whatever you have in mind.
If you do add plants, gently separate them when you unpack. You'll see two distinct root bases.

Can I get the wall hooks in a set of two instead of three?
Our custom wall hooks are made in sets of three to pair perfectly with our trios, so we don't offer a two-pack right now.
The good news: an extra hook is rarely wasted. Use it for another wall decor piece in your home, or hold onto it for the day you add a third Braid & Wood piece to your space.
And while the hooks are technically optional, they're worth it.
They were designed in the same studio, by the same hand, as the V-Hangers themselves. The proportions, the finish, the quiet detailing all made to belong together.
A generic hardware-store hook will hold the weight, but it won't add to the wall the way these do.
This is the one mounting solution made to elevate and complete the way your V-Hanger meets the wall. You won't find another hook quite like it.
I'm a renter. Can I install the V-Hanger Duo in my rental without damaging the walls?
Yes, beautifully! Each custom hook installs with a single small, delicate nail (think jewelry for your wall).
No anchors, no large hardware, no drill. The holes are tiny and easily patched with a dab of spackle when it's time to move on.
I love the duo, but I'm not sure how to style it in my space. Can you help?

I absolutely love these hangers. I hung some additional live Spanish moss from them along with the air plants that come with it. I do wish they weren’t as expensive though. I plan on buying the trio and make them into hanging ones from the ceiling somehow. Have you thought of offering them as hanging ones?

I ordered the "Air Plant V-Hanger Duo Small / Dark and Stormy". The air plants were a little smaller than I imagined, but have filled in quite a bit by following the recommended care guide. The hanger itself is beautiful and was perfect (no dings, scratches, etc.). The simple, but unique design is exactly what I was looking for and I would highly recommend this item. From order date to received date was only six days which I thought was very reasonable.
