The Crescent Air Plant Hanger + Pot is the perfect piece if your walls are craving something unique.
A slender oval in white ash and brass, holding a single air plant at its center like something precious. Beside a mirror, above a nightstand, in the narrow wall by the door: wherever art never quite fit, the Crescent does.
The Crescent is a study in nested form: an outer oval of white ash, an inner oval of brass-finished steel suspended within it, and a small crescent-shaped shelf of solid white ash bridging the two.
Resting on that shelf is our signature spun aluminum vessel in miniature — a soft white cup that cradles the plant and completes the composition. A hand-finished leather strap (in blush or black depending on the colorway you choose) and brass ring at the top, ready for the wall.
The Crescent is yours to compose. Optional add-ons include:

Your Crescent Wall Hanger is crafted from solid white ash hardwood, small-batch made, and finished by hand. With a little care, it's built to grow more beautiful with time.
A few simple notes from our studio:
- Keep your piece indoors. The white ash and leather details are made for interior styling, not the elements.
- When it's time to water or mist your air plant, remove it from the mini pot first. Our pieces are water-resistant, not waterproof. It's a small ritual that protects the finish for years to come.
For everyday upkeep, a soft cloth is all you need. Once in a while, a light pass of hardwood furniture polish brings the grain back to life and deepens the wood's natural dimension.
Treat it well, and it will do the same for your space.

Every Air Plant Shelf is composed of solid white ash hardwood, powder-coated steel, and full-grain leather.
Each material was chosen for the way it catches light, holds shape, and adds quiet dimension to a wall.
Solid White Ash Hardwood
A North American hardwood prized for its pale, open grain and soft, natural tone. White ash takes finish beautifully and reveals a different pattern across every piece. No two are exactly alike.
You'll feel the difference the moment you lift one. Solid hardwood has a real, substantial weight to it. The kind of presence you simply don't get from pine, plywood, MDF, or veneer. It's a quiet signal of quality, seen & felt simultaneously.
Powder-Coated Steel
The signature oblong frame is formed from solid steel, then powder-coated in a smooth timeless finish that holds its color and depth over time.
The result is a clean, architectural silhouette. Sculptural, precise, and softened by the curve.
Full-Grain Leather
The small leather strap at the top of each hanger is where craftsmanship meets quiet detail. Full-grain leather develops a richer patina with time, adding a subtle handmade quality to a design that is otherwise modern and refined.
Spun Aluminum
The pot at the heart of the Crescent Wall Hanger is spun aluminum, not molded plastic or fragile ceramic. Spinning is an artisan metalworking process that shapes a single sheet of aluminum over a form, producing a seamless, lightweight vessel with a clean, modern silhouette.
It won’t crack if it’s knocked, it won’t chip at the rim, and its matte finish sits in quiet contrast against the warm wood.
The pot is included as standard — there’s nothing else to source.

Is the air plant included?
Air plants are an optional add-on, so the choice is yours. Add one and you'll receive a Tillandsia Velutina, packaged in its own box and tucked inside the larger box with your Crescent Wall Hanger. Everything arrives together in one shipment.
Prefer to source your own greenery, or styling the shelves another way? Leave the air plant off and the Crescent ships ready for whatever you have in mind.

Can I just get one wall hook?
Our custom wall hooks are made in sets of three.
The good news: an extra hook is rarely wasted. Use it for another wall decor piece in your home, or hold onto it for the day you add more Braid & Wood pieces to your space.
And while the hooks are technically optional, they're worth it.
They were designed in the same studio, by the same hand, as the Crescent Wall Hangers themselves. The proportions, the finish, the quiet detailing all made to belong together.
A generic hardware-store hook will hold the weight, but it won't add to the wall the way these do.
This is the one mounting solution made to elevate and complete the way your Crescent Wall Hanger meets the wall. You won't find another hook quite like it.
I'm a renter. Can I install the Crescent Air Plant Shelf in my rental without damaging the walls?
Yes, beautifully! Each custom hook installs with a single small, delicate nail (think jewelry for your wall).
No anchors, no large hardware, no drill. The holes are tiny and easily patched with a dab of spackle when it's time to move on.
I love the Crescent, but I'm not sure how to style it in my space. Can you help?

I want to love this piece, I love the look so much. I need to figure a way to secure the rack the pot sits on. Once weight is applied to the pot it dislodges the rack from the hooks. I am going to try to secure them with some clear rubber bands.
